Could Be Better but Has Potential
The service was friendly and accommodating during our stay, making the experience a bit more bearable despite the cleanliness issues. If you can overlook some of the shortcomings, the location is great for a quick stay and the bar offers decent drinks.

Convenient location and loved the private entrance to avoid pub noises.

Had a great time with friends! We hit the Gloucester Ski and Snowboard Centre, and it was a blast. The prices for rooms were spot-on, really good value for a group getaway. Just a heads up, the shared bathrooms can feel a bit exposed, but overall, it’s a decent pick for budget travel.
One of my friends had a bad experience with cleanliness, mentioning they found bed bugs in their room, which was pretty off-putting. Definitely something we hope gets sorted moving forward.

convenient location for the train, fair price for budget travel, clean facilities
Accommodation lacking basic amenities like sufficient heating!!! A lack of privacy due to sheer curtains and poor sound insulation can be distracting!!! The reliability of the room's fixtures needs immediate attention!!!

The stay was marked by a convenient location, making it easy to explore the city. the room could use a thorough cleaning and maintenance, as the shower wasn't functioning properly and there were some cleanliness issues.

The fresh local eats nearby were a culinary dream! Just a stone's throw away, Delicious Coffee Shop served up some top-notch brews, and PizzAmore dished out pizza that made my taste buds dance. the price was a steal for the area—unbeatable value for the room!
On the flip side, the heating was cranked up too much, so I had to throw open the window and was woken up by train horns all night. Plus, the absence of a kettle left me craving my morning cuppa!

I enjoyed the location, just a short walk into Cheltenham. The staff were friendly and made the check-in process smooth, which I appreciated. The lounge area had a cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I found the shower malfunctioning, which was frustrating. Some areas seemed outdated and in need of refurbishment, including several fixtures. A few minor inconveniences were the uncomfortable seating in the lounge and the absence of basic necessities like a kettle in the room. With a little effort on these details, this place could be much better.

missingWrote a review on 04 Augcozy loungeconvenient locationlack of cleanliness
Location is conveniently close to Cheltenham, making it a decent spot for local events. The shared lounge area has a cozy vibe, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The room lacked basic comforts like heating. the thin duvet didn't help much. I found the bed sheets unwashed from previous guests, and the general cleanliness of the shower and toilets left a lot to be desired. there were no toiletries like hand wash or shower gel, and it felt a bit cramped with the shared bathroom situation. For someone looking for a tidy place, these issues could be dealbreakers.

Great location with potential for improvement
I enjoyed the convenient location, which made it easy to explore the town, especially since I had come for the Jazz Festival. The staff was accommodating with early bag drop-off, but upon returning, I found my room hadn't been cleaned properly, leaving me disappointed. it was good value for a budget stay, but they really need to address cleanliness.
